Sources close to Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam told the Lebanese channel Al-Jadeed that Salam instructed the relevant authorities to strengthen security measures at Beirut Port, particularly concerning the entry and exit of drugs.
The sources added that the Lebanese Prime Minister appointed the Minister of Public Works to investigate information that was published in the media about the smuggling of weapons and equipment for Hezbollah through Beirut Port.
