A car thief who attempted to pass through Rantis Checkpoint on Thursday morning from central Israel toward the Binyamin Region, drove into a guard post after the soldiers closed the gate when they became suspicious of the vehicle.
The vehicle caught fire and burned completely, and the thief was lightly injured. No Israeli forces were hurt, and the thief was arrested at the scene by the troops.
