US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar held their first one-on-one meeting a short while ago.
During the meeting, they discussed a range of issues, including strengthening and solidifying relations with the Abraham Accords countries, relocating embassies to Jerusalem, the legal warfare being waged against Israel and its right to self-defense, combating antisemitism, enhancing bilateral and economic ties between the two countries, and implementing President Trump’s "connectivity" vision (which includes Israel).
The two agreed to continue an open dialogue and to set a date for the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Washington in the near future.
