Lebanese Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri said that the Americans had notified him that Israel would withdraw from the country on February 18th but would remain in five locations.
"I notified the Americans on my behalf and on behalf of the President and Prime Minister that we completely reject this. If the occupation continues, it will be Lebanon's responsibility, and the military is doing its full duty in the south of the Litani River"
