Opposition leader Yair Lapid criticized the government's insistence on not establishing a state inquiry commission for the failures of October 7, 2023.
"The Israeli government is doing everything it can to avoid taking responsibility. The Cabinet meeting is a disgraceful spectacle that insults the bereaved families and the families of the hostages," Lapid said.
