Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar met with Hungarian President Dr. Tamás Sulyo in Budapest.

"Israel and Hungary share an alliance as proud, free, and sovereign countries. A strong Israel is important for Europe. I thanked President Sulyok for Hungary's clear moral distinction between good and evil and for standing with Israel against the anti-Semitic legal warfare being waged in the international legal institutions," Sa'ar stated after the meeting.

"I look forward to welcoming President Sulyok in Israel and reciprocating his warm friendship and hospitality," he added.
