Saudi daily newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported that the negotiations for a hostage deal have reached a critical stage and the technical teams are meeting for discussions.
A reliable source in Hamas told the newspaper that a deal is expected to be signed by the end of this week, "barring any new complications."
