Interceptor launched toward target in Western Galilee that was to be a false identification

A short while ago, an interceptor was launched toward a suspicious aerial target in the Western Galilee area that was determined to be a false identification, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said.

Sirens did not sound in accordance to protocol.
