The Security Cabinet approved in a telephone vote Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's proposal to allow Israeli banks to conduct business relations with Palestinian Arab banks in Judea and Samaria for another year until November 2025 to prevent the PA's collapse.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir opposed the proposal.
