US Representative Ritchie Torres (D-NY) commented on the report that one of Yahya Sinwar’s bodyguards was carrying an ID card that identified him as an “UNWRA teacher.”
"UNRWA is a teacher of hate—the kind of malignant Jew-hatred that metastasizes into the violence and terror of October 7th. Deradicalizing Gaza means undoing the damage that UNRWA has done. UNRWA enables Hamas. The US should stop subsidizing the enablers of October 7th," Torres wrote on X.
