    Motti Maman, 72, named as Israeli who conspired with Iran

    The Be'er Sheva Magistrates Court on Thursday lifted a gag order on the identity of the Israeli who was enlisted by Iran to assassinate Israeli leaders.

    The man has been named as Motti Maman, age 72 from Ashkelon.

    According to the indictment, Maman was enlisted, among other things, to advance the assassinations of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, ISA chief Ronen Bar, and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
