US Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff commented to the Pod Save America podcast on his wife's efforts to reach a hostage deal.
"I know she's working on this night and day, as is the President. I know there has to be a deal. There needs to be consequences for Hamas and the leaders, and there needs to be peace. And that's what they're working towards."
