According to Israel Railways, an individual who entered the area of the tracks at the Herzliya train station in violation of the rules was hit by a passing train. Emergency and rescue teams are at the scene.
Due to the incident, there are delays and changes to train service in central Israel and the Sharon region (Costal Line).
