The IDF's Arabic language spokesman on Tuesday issued a call to residents of Beit Hanoun, Manshiyya and Sheikh Za'id, as well as to people who are sheltering in the area to evacuate to recognized shelters in the center of Gaza City.
"Hamas and the terrorist organizations are firing rockets from your area towards the State of Israel. The IDF will act against them forcefully and immediately. For your safety - evacuate immediately," the message said.
