Senator Ben Cardin, the leader of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will preside over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to Congress on Wednesday, Senate aides said.
Vice President Kamala Harris, who usually serves as president of the Senate, has said she will not be in attendance for Netanyahu's speech as she is scheduled to be in Indiana on Wednesday.
