The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a statement mourning Holocaust historian Alex Dancyg, who was murdered in Hamas captivity.
"We are deeply saddened by the death of Alex Dancyg – a Polish-Israeli hostage held in Gaza. He was a man of peace and friendship who greatly contributed to the Polish-Jewish dialogue. Poland will continue to demand the unconditional release of all the abductees from Gaza," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
