The Knesset National Security Committee on Monday night approved for a second and third reading the bill to regulate the Lag Ba'Omer celebration in Meron.
The purpose of the law is to establish arrangements for holding events to mark the Hilula of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai in a limited format in Meron and taking into account the security situation and the declaration of a special situation by the Home Front Command.
