The IDF responded on Monday evening to an incident in which Jewish shepherds were attacked near Gitit by Palestinian Arabs, two of whom were killed.
"Earlier today, a report was received about a Palestinian suspect who attacked a Jewish shepherd in the vicinity of Gitit. A violent confrontation between Palestinians and Israeli civilians developed there. IDF forces arrived at the scene and worked to disperse the confrontation."
"During the incident two Palestinians were killed, preliminary investigation shows that it was not by IDF forces. The IDF and the Israel Police are investigating the incident," the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.
