German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is expected to visit Israel on Sunday. This is the chancellor's second visit to Israel since October 7.
In a conversation the German news agency dpa, Scholz made clear that he opposes a broad Israeli attack in Rafah as well as the plan presented by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu which says that Israel will control Gaza after the end of the war.
