Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Sunday night accepted the request of Tal Basechess, the civilian control center project manager, to step down from his post in light of the fact that, due to bureaucratic and legal difficulties the, he did not receive the required tools and powers.
"I thank Tal for his mobilization and his hard work in recent months. Tal is a professional, a patriot, who in an instant enlisted for active service for the State of Israel and much appreciation for that," said Minister Smotrich.
