During activity of Border Police officers at the Ofrit base in Jerusalem on Thursday evening, a suspicious vehicle was spotted. The officers approached it in order to check it, but after the vehicle started driving towards the officers and endangered them, one of the officers fired at the vehicle, which overturned.
A resident of eastern Jerusalem who was driving the car was moderately injured and a girl who was with him was lightly injured. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
