Three IDF soldiers, who serve in the Desert Reconnaissance Battalion (the Bedouin Battalion), entered the Palestinian Arab city of ad-Dhahiriya, near Hebron, on Monday afternoon, to sell gold in a local store. The three were wearing civilian clothes and were carrying two Tavor type weapons when they were quickly surrounded by local residents.

Kan 11 News reported that they were rescued by Palestinian Authority security personnel and transferred to the Yehuda Brigade. The military police opened an investigation.
