Giora Salz, the governor of Upper Galilee, criticized the IDF decision to confiscate weapons from civilian emergency squads in northern Israel during an interview with Galei Tzahal.
"This is madness. They are abandoning those who live here. We are talking about all the towns not on the border itself, from Mt. Hermon to the Sea of Galilee. We are in a war that started in October 7th. In a war, there will be a side that loses, and as of today Hezbollah has the upper hand."
