A Siyum HaTorah (completion of a new Torah scroll) took place at the home of Rabbi Eliyahu Alpert on Hanukah. Rabbi Alpert is the grandson of Rabbi Pinchas Scheinberg of Kiryat Mattersdorf and the son of Rabbi Nison Alpert the student of Rabbi Moshe Feinstein. He is pictured with his brother-in-law Dr. Joseph Frager (Right) and the scribe Rabbi Shmuel Bodenheim (Center).
