IDF: 'Interceptor launched following suspicious identification'

The IDF announced that earlier this evening, an interceptor was launched following a suspicious identification inside Israeli airspace over southern Israel.

An alert was activated in open areas according to protocol.

The IDF says that the incident is under review.
