21-year-old Maya Regev, who was freed from Hamas captivity on Saturday night, was evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva to receive medical treatment.
"Her medical situation is stable. In the hospital she will meet with her family members and receive medical and psychological care as needed," a Ministry of Health spokeswoman said.
"These are sensitive moments for the families and for the saved hostages who have returned to Israel. We wish to maintain their privacy and dignity. The Ministry of Health is happy for their return home and wishes for the return of all the hostages," she added.
