Based on intelligence information captured during IDF operations at the al-Shifa hospital yesterday (Wednesday), the IDF has confirmed a connection between Hamas activities at the hospital and hostages kidnapped and held in Gaza since October 7.
On a laptop taken from the Hamas command and control center at al-Shifa was found a photograph of Private Ori Megidish, the soldier who was rescued from Hamas captivity, before her abduction.
In addition, new findings were found indicating significant underground infrastructure beneath the hospitals of the Gaza Strip and IDF forces are working to uncover them. The accumulated evidence proves that Hamas uses the hospitals for terrorist purposes.
