Police announced Tuesday afternoon that 859 civilians who were murdered by Hamas terrorists on October 7 have been positively identified.
16 more civilian victims have been identified since the previous update on November 8.
The death toll from the massacre has been revised downward from 1,400 to 1,200 due to the large number of cases in which separate body parts have been identified as belonging to the same person.
