The Israel Internet Association announced on Monday that it identified and foiled attempts to carry out cyber attacks against Israeli websites and to harm them using users' passwords that leaked in the past on the internet.
According to the announcement, the attackers attempted to fill the sites with Hamas propaganda. The association is calling on users not to use the same password for multiple sites, to activate multi-factor authentication, and to back up sites using additional security means.
