Following UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres' claim that Israel's attempts to defend itself from the genocidal Hams terrorist organization are turning Gaza into a "graveyard for children," Prof. Anne Bayefsky, president of Human Rights Voices and director of the Touro Institute on Human Rights, told Israel National News - Arutz Sheva that "the Secretary-General has lost his legitimacy to serve as a moral authority. Put plainly, he is now playing front-man for Hamas. Less than 48 hours after the worst criminal atrocity to befall the Jewish people since the Holocaust, the Secretary-General had the audacity to analogize the Jewish state to the genocidal terrorist entity Hamas, claiming that the beheadings, burning babies in ovens, and rape as a weapon of war were just another cog in a "vicious circle of bloodshed." At the time, virtually nothing was happening in Gaza, and Israel was engaged in a desperate attempt to stop the intrusion and turn back violence on three fronts. At the United Nations, however, the terror apologists and enablers were trying desperately to invert good and evil."
"The latest foul-mouthed lie from the Secretary-General is simply a continuation of his effort to demonize and delegitimize the Jewish state by failing to acknowledge unequivocally Israel's right of self-defense under the UN Charter. To this day, the Secretary-General has refused to say that what we have witnessed and are witnessing is Palestinian terrorists engaged in lethal antisemitism. The lethal antisemitism that takes the form of graveyards of Jewish children. The children who are deliberately targeted in a barbaric effort to destroy the state of Israel and the Jewish people."
