CIA Director William J. Burns arrived in Israel on Sunday for discussions with leaders and intelligence officials, the first stop in a multicountry trip in the region amid Israel's war with Hamas, the New York Times reported, citing US officials.
After his arrival, Burns met with Mossad Director David Barnea. On Monday he is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
