US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told reporters: "There are no guarantees about anything with Hamas. We ware absolutely focused on getting the hostages to safety, and a humanitarian pause could help do that. We stand strongly behind Israel in its right and obligation to ensure that this never happens again."
