UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has fired a government aide who had called for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
Tory MP Paul Bristow was sacked as Technology Secretary Michelle Donelan’s parliamentary private secretary after he sent a letter to Sunak in which he accused Israel of carrying out "collective punishment" against the residents of Gaza following Hamas' massacre of over 1,400 Israelis.
