With the return of work in the agricultural farms in the towns surrounding the Gaza Strip, the Procurement Director at the Ministry of Defense and the supplier of fruits and vegetables to the IDF agreed on the immediate return of the supply of tomatoes from the Gaza Strip region to IDF units.
Today the first shipment left from Moshav Mivtahim to the IDF.
According to the directive of the director general of the Ministry of Defense, Major General (res.) Eyal Zamir, all agricultural produce supplied to the IDF during the war will be from Israeli farmers.
