Binyamin Regional Council Governor Israel Ganz congratulated US Representative Mike Johnson on being elected as Speaker of the House.
"I congratulate Mike Johnson, a friend of the Jewish communities in the Binyamin region and throughout Judea and Samaria, on his being elected House Speaker of the US Congress.
Over the years I have become deeply acquainted with Mike, including at joint meetings in Binyamin and in the US, and he has done much for the Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria and for the State of Israel.
I have no doubt that the United States now has a representative with strong values, who will be good for Congress and for the American people. Israel will have a true friend in a significant role in Washington, Israel’s close ally," Ganz stated.
