ESPN reported on Sunday night that Israeli basketball player Deni Avdija, who plays for the Washington Wizards, has agreed on a four-year, $55 million contract extension.
The extension for Avdija, the ninth overall pick in 2020, is the highest contract extension ever for an Israeli player. Avdija played for Maccabi Tel Aviv before joining the NBA in 2020.
