Maxim Rozinkov, a reserve Border Police officer, was killed in the explosion during operational activity near Tulkarm today, it was cleared for publication.
Initially, it was reported that 10 Border Police officers were injured in the explosion. Security forces came under fire from terrorists and IEDs were thrown at them during an operation to arrest wanted suspects.
