Rabbi David Lau, the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel, called on the public to donate blood at one of the public donation stations set up across the country following Hamas' massacre of over 500 people over the weekend.
Rabbi Lau himself arrived at one of the Jerusalem stations to donate blood. "Each and every one must now do something for the common good, with prayers, blood donations, and anything else that is needed," the Chief Rabbi said.
