An IDF soldier from the Haruv Reconnaissance Brigade was lightly injured by shrapnel from an explosive device that detonated in Shechem (Nablus) while the forces were guarding Jewish worshipers at Joseph's Tomb.
Galei Tzahal reported that the soldier suffered burns but continued to fight through the night and, at the end of the activity, was evacuated to the hospital.
