Deputy Minister MK Avi Maoz responded to the violent riot during Shabbat.
"The barbaric and shocking violence of hundreds of infiltrators in Tel Aviv during Shabbat would have been avoided if the Supreme Court judges had allowed the enactment of the laws for their deportation. The removal of tens of thousands of infiltrators from the State of Israel is a first and necessary step to restoring the sovereignty of the State of Israel in South Tel Aviv and restoring order and peace to South Tel Aviv. I fully support the policemen who felt their lives were in danger and responded by shooting, and wish a speedy recovery to the policemen who were injured."
