Justice Minister Yariv Levin spoke on video from the Knesset to the right-wing demonstration in Tel Aviv.
"The right that has fallen to us to take part in the defense of the State of Israel does not place any of us above the people or in place of the people. Refusal to serve is out of bounds. Surrendering to refusal is truly the end of democracy," Levin said.
