MK Danny Danon of the Likud referred to the possibility of a military operation in northern Samaria during an interview on 103FM Radio.
According to him, "From an operative point of view, I don't think we have many choices, but we should let the political echelon and the prime minister make the decision when, and not whether, to launch an operation in northern Samaria to deal with the terrorist nests."
Danon also said: "I can't speak of hours or days, but in the near future we will see an extensive operation in northern Samaria. If a week from now they still haven't done anything and only sent some troops to secure the areas, I will go on the air and say that the Prime Minister is not only (offering empty promises) but also wrong."
