Druze protesters are blocking Rame and Elyakim Junctions in northern Israel in protest against the installation of wind turbines in the northern Golan Heights.
Near the work site, protesters violated public order while throwing stones, shooting fireworks and starting fires.
According to the police, the plan to erect the wind turbines was carried out without expropriating a single meter from the land owners. The lands required for the project were leased from their owners for 20 years, in exchange for millions of shekels.
