Six wanted terrorists were detained throughout Judea and Samaria during overnight raids. Based on intelligence reports from the Shin Bet, a suspect with a gun in his vehicle was apprehended near the PA village of Beit Habarkah.
During the operation, a suspect threw Molotov cocktails at soldiers in the village of Husan near Beit Lechem (Bethlehem). Soldiers responded by firing back and one of the suspects was wounded. No soldiers were hurt in the operation.
Later, a violent disturbance developed in which dozens of rioters threw rocks and burning tires at soldiers, who responded with anti-riot measures.
Multiple weapons and ammunition were seized during the raids.
