A 32-year-old resident of Be'er Sheva was arrested on suspicion of attacking his ex-partner and threatening her with a knife.
A police report was received after the woman entered a store in the Yad Mordechai complex and told the manager that her ex-partner, who was with her in the car, was threatening to hurt her with a knife in the presence of her son.
Another person who noticed the confrontation between the two tried to buy time and talked to the suspect, which allowed the woman to escape with the vehicle. This followed a foot chase by the police, who were able to apprehend the suspect.
