A prosecutor in New York has closed an investigation against former President Donald Trump and his company, who were suspected of submitting a false report to the authorities in order to pay reduced taxes on properties owned by the former President and the Trump Organization.
The prosecutor, Mimi Rocah, announced that the case was closed following an investigation "conducted objectively and independently of politics, party affiliation and personal or political beliefs."
