Senior coalition officials want to set an end date for talks with the opposition with regards to the proposed legal reform in order to leave a window of time in which some of the laws can be enacted unilaterally. This was reported by Haaretz.

According to the report, the officials are interested in promoting the laws as early as the current Knesset session if the coalition and opposition do not reach a compromise after the resumption of talks at the President's Residence.
