The Ministerial Committee on Legislation approved for preliminary reading a bill by MK Ya'akov Asher, according to which incitement against the haredi community would be considered a criminal offense under the Racism Law.
"The time has come to put a limit on the dangerous incitement that is raging against the haredi public. The law will make it possible to exact a price from instigators and will make it clear that haredi citizens are not without defenses," MK Asher commented.
