National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir responded to journalist Nadav Eyal's article accusing him of mismanaging the police force in the headline of the Yediot Ahronot newspaper this morning.
"The left-winger Nadav has always been against me. Now he is making cynical and political use of [the high rate of] murder in the Arab sector against me. After all, for half a year all the left-wing ignoramuses have been saying that I should not be Chief Commissioner, that I should only be allowed to outline policy and not manage the police. Then they cry that I'm not running the police properly...Oh, the hypocrisy..," he was quoted as saying.
