Opposition leader MK Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to fire National Security Minister Itamar Ben Givr (Otzma Yehudit).
"People are dying every day, families are being destroyed," Lapid said. "He is the greatest failure of a minister in the history of the police. His only experience is that of a convicted criminal."
